       Pending a move later this year to a new facility, Cabbage Patch Kids celebrate a 21 year tradition with excitement sprinkled with a little nostalgia. Babyland General Hospital hosts this annual event at the location, where it started and housed the fun and fantasy of the Cabbage Patch Kids for more than 30 years.

The Cabbage Patch Kids and Celebration Foods are continuing their partnership with Carvel ice cream cakes and Cabbage Patch Kids 25th anniversary celebration, with the launch of a new promotion. Through the new campaign, more than 10,000 supermarkets, club stores, and super centers across the country are offering consumers a free Cabbage Patch Kids DVD with the purchase of specially marked packages of Carvel ice cream cakes. The campaign will be supported with in-store static clings, on-pack promotional bursts, and the distribution of a free standing insert (FSIs) to more than 26 million households.

To cross-promote this event, the 25th Anniversary Cabbage Patch Kids are available now at retail and feature a Carvel burst and coupons in each package.

The FSIs are expected to hit homes on November 16. Consumers will be able to claim their free Cabbage Patch Kids DVD through an exclusive mail-in offer.

The staff at BabyLand General Hospital, birthplace of the Cabbage Patch Kids, is planning a big celebration on Saturday, Sept. 20, in Cleveland, GA.
